The challenge starts now.
Hartwell students entering grades 4-8 have all summer to build their team, sharpen their skills, and prepare for the first-ever Hartwell Hoops Back-to-School Tournament.
On August 14, one team in each grade will be crowned Hartwell Hoops Champion and every player on the winning team will receive a $100 Back-to-School Gift Card.
Will 4th Grade show up? Will 5th Grade dominate? Who's got the best squad in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade?
The only way to find out is on the court.

Hartwell Hoops takes place during Hartwell's annual Back-to-School Bash.
Outside, students compete on the courts in a grade-level 3-on-3 tournament for the chance to become Hartwell Hoops Champions. Inside, families experience the full Back-to-School Bash featuring Meet the Teacher, school supply giveaways, community resources, and All About The Money with Shannel Heath of JPMorgan Chase.
This event is designed to create school pride, encourage family engagement, and help students start the school year feeling connected and excited for what's ahead.

Who can participate?
Current and incoming Hartwell students entering grades 4-8.
How many players per team?
Three players per team.
What can teams win?
Each player on the championship team receives a $100 Back-to-School Gift Card.
Does it cost anything?
No. Participation is completely free for eligible Hartwell students.
What's happening inside during the tournament?
While students compete outside, families are invited to enjoy the full Back-to-School Bash inside featuring Meet the Teacher, school supply giveaways, community resources, and All About The Money -- an interactive financial wellness workshop hosted by Shannel Heath of JPMorgan Chase. Free and open to all Hartwell families.
What if it rains?
Event organizers will provide updates and contingency plans if weather impacts outdoor play.
